I don't think it is the age I think it is the responsibility. I say that you have to be atleast 16 and then after that you have to pass the test with flying colors and then get letters from like three people who know you pretty well and see if they think you are ready to be driving. Like me I am only 12 but I am very mature for my age. And there are 21 year olds who act like total idiots on the road. That is what I think

Kids are involved with a lot of mishaps with motor vehicles. Many are killed because they don't have the experience driving. I was in back of a kid going to high school and he hydroplaned. He hit the brakes, and off he went head on into another care. A dead 17 year old!

One proviso, in states like Idaho and the central states where a lot of kids who have been driving tractors for as long as they can remember, shoud be treated differently!

One speeding ticket here if you are under 21 and you lose your license!

18 years old. I feel that at any younger than that age they are not responsible enough to get behind the wheel of a car. They are still interested in playing smack games with there friends and not focusing on the road.
