If your trying to impress a little kid, simple things like baking soda and vinegar will work.

There's this cool one where you get a lit candle. Also some baking soda and vinegar. Then get one of those rolls that are underneath your toilet paper.

This is what you do:
First, light the candle.
Second, get a bottle and mix baking soda and vinegar together. Not no much, like, 1/3 fill the bottle with vinegar then add some baking soda.Make sure that you have the cardboard roll ready!
Next, tip the bottle at the end of the cardboard roll enough so that none of the mixture gets through. Do it quickly because the reaction will make the bottle fill up faster.

What happens is the candle gets put out for seemingly no reason. To find out how it work, just contact me by clicking on my name, then it will say contact megagenius11 on my profile.

I really Think you will love this. For 6th grade science class, we all had to find a simple science experiment to do in front of the class. there was like 30 of us and people was paying attention to any, but when I did mine a couple people wanted to see it again. this got everyone else to look. I did it about 5 times in a row.

Try taking a two liter bottle of soda and 1 an 1/2 rolls of Mentos. Using an old Paper towel tube, cut it to fit around the Mentos loosely. Take the Mentos and fill up the tube with them. Then you take another piece of cardboard to hold them in the tube from one end. Remove the cap from the soda bottle and place the tube over the open bottle. When you are ready pull the cardboard out from under the tube and let the Mentos fall into the soda. Run. Name brand sodas work best. The fountain will reach about ten to twelve feet high. I also recommend diet sodas due to the sticky factor.

You can do paper chromatography with a marker and coffee filter:
Fold the filter in half three tines, mark with a black marker about a centimeter from the tip then hold the end in a glass of water

You can also make silly putty by mixing glue with borax solution.

dna electrophoresis or pcr there always fun while your at it you could sequence your own dna and find a woman to lend you an egg and do a nuclear transfer , and then infect the egg with a adeno virus so that you can add some sort of "cool gene" and then let the egg start to devide and then seperate the cells and implant them both in the woman...and see what you get ....muhahahahaha muhahahahaha
