The tour with the Snowball Dining room is impressive but it's a very long tour so the younger members of your group, and the older ones, could get too tired. I haven't been for awhile but I've taken every tour they have available. You can go on line for a description of each tour and you can buy your tickets in advance. There is a picnic area available as well. I never stayed at Wigwam, so can't help you there.

I don't know which tour, but they will recommend which one will work for your group.
I never stayed at the village, but I hear it's great.
If you want something else to do there, try Guntown Mountain in Cave City nearby. They have go carts and other games. They take old west sepia pictures. It was a blast!

I went there about 10 years ago. The best (most memorable) tour we took was the lantern tour. You go much farther back into the cave, into areas where there is no electric lighting. They hand out gas lanterns, and the tour guides also have flashlights and torches. Lots of fun, but bring your walking shoes.

I dunno bout Wigwam anything, but, I HAVE been through a guide of Mammoth Cave, back in High School days. A suggest, you want to be certain that everyone going, is healthy enough to get through narrow passageways in the cave. Mammoth, although the LARGEST cave, has some TIGHT spots in it!
