Although it's unlikely you are pregnant, it might be worth a visit to your gynecologist. You are a bit young for perimenopause (when your periods start to get erratic). There are instances of women getting pregnant after tubal ligation (even read of a case where a woman got pregnant after she had a tubal AND her husband had a vasectomy, talk about miracles), but in that case there is a strong risk of an ectopic (in the tube) pregnancy, which would be very dangerous for you. Another possibility could be a ovarian cyst (where the egg does not come fully out of the ovary), which can also cause irregularities. Or it might just be a late period. Anyway, since you are worried, a doctor's visit seems to be in order just to make sure everything is fine.

My friend also had a tubal. When her youngest son was born, she opted for a tubal. 3 years later she was gaining weight, not feeling well, irregular cycles. She didn't even think she could be pregnant because of tubal. She was at Lowe's she thought she had to poop, she sat down and out came an embryo, she leaned down to get her cell phone out of her purse and the auto matic toilet flushed it down, she knew it was a baby. she was frantic. She then made a doctors appointment. She was scheduled for another tubal (more intense) one. They did a blood pregnancy test to see how high her levels were. They found she was still pregnant with another baby. She had a rare twin pregnancy. ...so........ you need to really go see you doctor.

Well, a woman that I know, her mother got her tubes tied three times and got pregnant after the first two times. However, it could just be early menopause. Other things like stress, weight change (gain or loss), etc. can affect your period as well.
Point is, there are MANY things that can affect your period besides pregnancy. I would go to your gyno to make 100% sure.

Yes. Sad to say but a tubal is not always 100% effective. Take a test.
