want to go to Australia, no leave in my account, no NOC 47 yrs old?

My wife's two brothers r permanent residents of Australia. I m doing job in an institution for the last 22 yrs, 47 yrs old .No leave is due for me as I am on leave for the last one year. Immigeration authorities will ask for NOC as well as leave from my employer, which I can't take. I only want to go on visitor's visa for 3-6 months as I m really depressed from my present situation. Since, I have heard of Australian life-style, I want to see. Can somebody guide

You should request your department to grant extraordinary leave and to issue NOC for leaving the country.
