My 16 yr stepdaughter wants to be emancipated. She is a constant runaway, she refuses to deal with the consquences when she gets in trouble. Drinking, Smoking, Curfew, Stealing, Suspensions, etc. She has been on the run for 2 weeks now living with Spanish speaking ppl, (she speaks english only) her bio mother is supporting her 2 be emancipated. (she can't go back and live with mom, cause of her influences on her baby sisters) My husband is against her being emancipated and says she needs to come back here and carry out her concequences. But she refuses. What is to be expected in court and what do Santa Clara County Judges look for when deciding these cases. What will he say?

sounds unlikely to be emancipated. To be emancipated they must sow they can support and take care of themselves. And it doesn't sound like she is, she just doesn't want to follow rules. Perhaps a girls home would be a better place. some sort of supervised group home

I have been given the same difficulty. It purely skill you may desire to pass and guard it at a undeniable time.. and till you have killed somebody or they want you for yet another reason, i think of you're risk-free. the 1st speeding fee ticket I have been given they sent me all of those notices. I went to the court domicile interior the city of which I have been given it in (in Ohio, I stay in WV).. and the guy flirted w/me, dropped the speeding fee ticket, purely charged me $40 5 for court expenses and instructed me that i might desire to apply him as a reference for college/artwork. ordinary hm?
