The jury on this is still out. It has been found, in the most recent study, that the cell phone radio waves do activate a part of the brain that they shouldn't, but they aren't sure what the consequences of this are.

Some have expressed concern that holding a "transmitting device" so close to your head, you are exposing yourself to "dangerous EMF", but we are all surrounded by radiation all the time (most of it natural), and study after study has failed to find any link between cell phones & cancer. So don't worry!
Most of the "suspicion" was raised by people who want to sell you something to "protect" you from the danger they think is there!
