just to say that he was talking doesn't mean to say that he was lying but if you where to say "if a man was lying in the woods and nobody is there to hear him is he still a liar"
well then I would say yes cause if hes lying and just because nobody hears doesn't mean hes not lying, but if nobody is there how do you know that he was ever there at all.
You can always trust a lair to lie but you can never trust a truthful man to tell the truth cause you never know when he will lie.
