It's fine as long as you do get out to talk to people once in awhile. Most people need some time to themselves just to relax their minds. I know I need this. We all need some "down" time from others just to chill out and be ourselves.

Of course it is! At school I sit in the libary most days to get away from noise, execpt on a tuesday and some thursdays when its buisiest, monday its pratically dead. Quiet where you can be calm and do absoloutley nothing and you don't have to listen to a load of crazzeee people saying going on about boys make up and the latest chart topping single being played in your ear every 5 seconds. Then getting the dam song stuck in your head all week so you hum it in lessons! Being only is peaceful. Most at the computor on here now are on their own, this is good we are focused to give good advice and have some fun too, its like your not alone but you are. All you have to do is turn off the computor and your alone. However its sort of comforting seeing people with loads of problems like your not alone and you end up giving advice to someone that can be said for yourself! It puts things into perspective. If you mean fully alone you are calm and don't have to worry about much. You're out of the hustle and bustle, the big rush its cool being alone. And you can get some great perspectives on things or ideas on your own. However I usually get ideas when someone i'm not talking to, maybe even not even know says a word that sparks a chain reaction in my mind for a book idea it might be a v simple word like bad but it will spark your brain. However you only get focused t tap into these ideas after being alone, its like your more aware of whats around you. More open to new ideas.

Being alone ROCKS!

As long as you're not alone all the time, then wanting to be alone isn't a bad thing. Like everything else in life, it depends on the circumstances involved.

Absolutely! I cherish my 'alone' time. Most people who can enjoy their own company are usually confident and have a good feeling of self worth, as opposed to those who always want to be in a crowd or with other people to validate themselves somehow. But, there is a difference between solitude and isolation.

Yes, it is perfectly normal to want to be alone. Everyone needs to have down time from having to deal with other people. Interacting with others can be stressful so time alone to recoup from that stress is healthy.

Of course it's okay. Some people just don't want to be around others. It's not okay though if you are avoiding doing things, like going to the store, entertaining yourself, or avoiding funtions that you really should go to, ie, family funtions. Do you have anyone you are close to? Are you married? If you're not willing to go out, it better be okay with your other half.

Yes it is. Sometimes we as individuals need to take time and just be alone. The alone time will help you figure things out, destress yourself, and it gives you a chance to be uninhibited.

Yes, I really enjoy being alone. It gives you time to think about things without anyone disturbing you. Also, you get to do what you want, when you want. It's great.

Oh yes! Sometimes, the best company is that of oneself. HOWEVER, if you want to be alone ALL the time, then it would cease to be OK.

Yes. Not everyone needs a partner. I personally like my space. I am married however, but if I was not, I would be OK too.
Depends on if you like your freedom to do what you want when you want.
