What makes me happiest is realizing that happiness is a state of mind and not certain circumstances that I wait or work for to happen. Life will be difficult for everyone at some point and some people experience some really terrible things but understanding that no matter what's going on in my life or others, I have made up my mind to BE happy. It was hard to come to that point of understanding because pop culture wants us to be happy with things and money so we can buy what's popular to try and live like the people we see on TV . But If you have the balls to unplug from pop culture, figure out who you are and learn from the difficult times to make you stronger, you realize that everything you need in life you have inside you. Then you will realize your happiest days. I know I did.

The thing in my life that makes me happiest is my 16 month old daughter. Every time I see her she puts the biggest smile on my face.
