Yes.
I am proof. My GF stays almost 2000km away. Sometimes it can be painful, it always is. But it helps to phone/sms/email, to just keep the lines of communication going. I sometimes try sending her stuff, like flowers, a gift or anything, because it still keeps things romantic and because I care so much!
But it takes two hands to clap, so both of you should be on the same lines...
And when you are together, just make the most of it, make it unforgettable...and if you are both dedicated to the relationship, it will happen naturally. I would like to think that it has for me....
Hope that helps.

Gigi,
Relationships in general require commitment, trust, honesty, and a great deal of work!!! It is not impossible to sustain a long distance romance, but you have to remember all of the above still applies. The question I must ask you is, are you willing to commit all your love and attention to this person, and vise versa. If the answer is yes / yes,,,,then the two of you are able to give it a try!!!
I hope this helps,
Huggs and Kisses,,,

NO! Long distance relationships are for the blind. They don't work at all no matter how much you say you trust...they don't work.
Unless you don't care that the other one has his/her sexual encounters with whom ever........but then again that's no way to have a healthy fulfilling relationship......Think about it!!!
