Schlitterbahn in Texas is the highest rated year after year. One may see it as the Cedar Point of water parks. They are the only water park to have the popular, and expensive Aqua Blaster slide that uses water jets to "launch" tubes and riders up inclines. It is the closest thing to a roller coaster in the water slide world. The Aqua Blaster slides are so advanced they even have a computer monitoring system, as do all roller coasters. The park also features an extensive lazy river along with very large kiddie areas.

Although I live extremely close to Wet N' Wild Emerald Pointe in North Carolina and it is a great water park that has been voted a "Must See Waterpark" as well as one of the top 15 largest in the world. They have a water coaster (although it is permanently disfuctional), as well as many slides including Dare Devil Drop that towers slightly over 70 feet tall and sends riders down a steep incline. Their wave pool is also the best I've seen as it goes to 12 feet deep (most only go to 6 feet) and features an area where a whirlpool is created by the wave.

The top rated one is Schlitterbahn in Austin Texas. It was the first park in the country to have a water slide 'roller coaster', where it uses water pressure to shoot you uphill several times, rather than just a straight downhill run.
