I would say on average people ready daily... I know I am on the lower end of the reading spectrum I just can't get into books and feel that I need to be doing things to keep my mind active...

Depends on the person. My group of friends typically read the newspaper, a few magazines, and maybe a book or two a month, not counting text books.

I go through a book every 3-4 days. I read every night before I go to bed and usually on my lunch break if I can fit it in.

Sadly, less and less, on the whole. But there are still a lot of voracious readers out there, even if they are only reading The DaVinci Code.
