It's a feeling...i think but, im not sure. It might be an action. A girl I used to work with told me that my manager would have a coniption if I didn't get all of the dressing out of the containers when I emptied them. One of my friends said she was about to have a coniption when she couldn't find her cell phone and, her mom was trying to find her by calling her.

If you ever want to really KNOW what Conniption feels like.... ask your 14 year old son why you found a condom in his room... or When your boss is going all postal on you giving you a heap of things to do when your bloated and on your period and have a headache, cramps, your tired, hungry, feeling like you want to cry, but your mad at everyone and about everything but can't do anything about it and to top it all off you can't get a-hold of your best friend on the phone and dammit you want some chocolate! I bet then... then you will KNOW without a doubt what a Conniption is....

Conniption is an old word
I first came across it in the
novel Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain
His Elderly Guardian . Aunt Jane ..
Frequently went into "Conniptions "
when Tom, got into some mischief ,
which was almost all the time .
