I would ask your self "what is it about me that my husband can't tell me things".
If I had to guess, when he has told you a difficult truth in the past, it has led to a lambasting from you. Perhaps you have a lot to do with how he interracts with you.
I don't think most people want to lie or want to withold things from their most closest companion in life. It develops over time based on your communication style (and his).

The above answers are dumb. Steady communication? honesty? that obvisously is the problem, and supposidly it isn't your fault.
My wife lies a lot, too. It's a big problem for her. Those above answers won't solve it. IE: yesterday she told me she took laundry to the cleaners. She hid them under the bed. It's going to take patience for me and professional help.
these 14 year olds on here are not good answerers, it's best not to bother with yahoo questions for stuff like this
