I certainly am not all of those, though thanks for the thought.
My mom is most of these, but she's old fashioned and that sometimes negates the "down to earth" portion.
You know if it were a celebrity I would guess it's Paula Dean. She's the Southern cook on the Food Network and she seems like she's all the qualities you asked for.

My friend Jean (England - Beds/Bucks area). She has not got a mean bone in her body and we havew been friends for about 15 years now (maybe more) and we may not talk for two or three years at a time but when we catch up it's like we have never been apart.
No recriminations for missing time, just hey how are ya, still luv ya, see you again whenever!
She's just the best!

It has to be my husband,I met him through a free newspaper ad,eight years ago.It was a blind date and the minute I set eyes on him I just knew .We married in Florida in 2001 and really have been HAPPY EVER AFTER ever since.He had been married for 27yrs and I had been married 24 and both our partners had left us.He is the most genuine,happy,honest and loving man I have ever met,and would never do anything to hurt me.Lets hear it for COLIN my hero.
