I like all kinds of literature, not just English.

But Bronte, Dickens, Shakespeare, all good.

These days it is all about "cultural studies".

But I am more interested in English literature, from Beowulf through Bronte...

Yep. I like the whole range of English lit, a few other flavors as well. I teach it for a living.

I have an MA in Lit. and most of my studies (even as an undergrad) were English lit. However, other than a survey question, did you want to know more?

I am ...very much...i love all the classic English writers....Austen, Bronte, hardy, dickens, Thackeray, Lawrence, gaskell.......I've already read all the major works.
and i never saw ur question before or I'd have answered.
do suggest something good, I'm out of books.........

Sure. Terry Pratchett. Gotta love him. Though Dickens every once in a while is also palatable.
