She lives at least 2 to 3 hours away, so any suggestions?

I am talking to a guy who lives an hour away and that is hard enough. He doesn't like talking on the phone so there's a problem. You should call her a lot, im a lot and keep reminding her how important she is to you. In the near future one of you ( that means you) should drive over the seee the other person and spend the whole day together.

You haven't given much information....I will be sincere with you though.
Not sure how the relationship is working if you don't see each other. If it is just on line, maybe it's just companionship you are looking for, not a "girlfriend" per say.
If you two are serious, why not meet each other half way? (If you are old enough....I am assuming you are at least 18.) Have dinner, see a movie, miniature golfing. It doesn't matter if you are 18 of 88, have fun......(Clean fun) and be careful.
Only you know your true feelings and what you want.

My boyfriend and I now live together in an apartment.
We were dating online 2 years ago and we lived 15 hours apart.
I was in New Orleans he was in Ohio.
We wrote each other, chatted with each other online and I called and he called every day!!
After 10 dedicated months of talking I had the money for a plane ticket and he was jobless trying to move out.
Since the employment was better in Ohio I took that ticket and lived with him, we raised the money for housing.
A year later, KATRINA happened.
2 or 3 hours is nothing to me.
If you really love someone, you talk to them.
Ask them how their day was.
Write letters, send packages, tapes and so on.
COMMUNICATE!!!
Loving this man full hearted saved my life.

Not exactly sure what you mean by 'handle'. do you want the relationship to continue and grow or do you want to cool it down or end it?
If you want it to continue, and you both are sincere and truthful in your conversations then you need to meet and see if you still feel the same. 2-3 hours isn't alot....unless you're too young to drive.

email each other, talk on the phone, share pictures, use your webcam, visit each other every two weeks or three weeks or so. It depends on both of you about how often you want to talk and see each other. Maybe make plans to see each other during holiday weekends. Remember we have holidays almost every month. Actually, this sounds very fun to me. You both can be independent with your own stuff and then look forward to meet during holidays.
