there is no I in team because it takes a group effort to win and if only one person on the team wants to take all of the glory, then why have them on your team? Once again, a team is made up of a group of people not just one

tracey986 is correct. This is a saying meant to emphasis that a person should be a team player and not take chances to score kudos for oneself when one's efforts would be better directed toward helping the team succeed. For instance in soccer you would pass the ball to a player in a better position to shoot for the goal, rather than try to dribble around defenders and possibly lose the ball.

I stands for ego and we stands for oneness in many so as team has many players but has to fight as one that is shy it has no I.

You cannot take those puns too seriously. There is an "I" in the Spanish translation of "team": "equipo". So, does that mean that if you're working in Spanish, then you get to be individualistic? I don't think so.
