Never drop it in water, make sure it is someplace secure when you use the toilet so it doens't fall in (I can't tell you how many friends of mine have done this)
don't use it on a motorcycle (my husband does this and he dropped it once... it got run over by a truck) Best to get a hands-free ear plug or something if you plan on using it while driving a car.
Don't give your number out to just anyone, make sure you are giving your number to trustworthy people or business entities.
program numbers into yuor phone for easy retrieval AND to know who is calling you!!
ALWAYS turn the volume OFF in the movie theatres and in doctors offices and in class.
Don't talk on the phone when you are face to face with someone else - such as at fast food restaurants, bank tellers, retail stores... many of those folks can refuse you service if you are rude and talking on the phone!!
Don't overcharge the battery, as this will actually wear it out quicker (i.e. don't leave it plugged into the charger overnight, unplug it when it is done charging)

Don't keep it clipped onto your belt when you go to the bathroom. So many people I know have dropped their phones into the toilet.
Don't keep the ringer to loud in public places, it is annoying to others.
Never lay it down, you will loose it.
Try not to drop it. THey break easily.
Get a cover. They loose their "new look" very fast.
Always keep it charged for emergencies.

Only charge it when you need too.
Never take it on the lake with you.
Try not to drop it if you don't have one of those leather covers.
Try not to use it a lot during your daytime minutes.
Never let anyone use your phone if you don't know them that well.
