Say I want to send Reese Witherspoon a letter and I don't have that much to say except to ask for a signed photo, what do I write??? Please help... Anything is helpful!

I hate to brake it to you but almost all celebrities have other people read their mail to make sure they're arent any bombs in the letters. So, not to burst you bubble, but the odds of you getting anything back are slim. But, you could always try it and write:
Dear Miss. Witherspoon,
I am very fond of your work and was hoping I could ask a simple favor of you. Could you please send me via mail an autographed picture of you.

Send the request to the person's agent...Fan mail is usually handled by agents who hire "fan request" subagencies for thousands of such letters. The chance that it will be seen by a celebrity is close to zero...If you enclose a stamped self addressed envelope the chance of an autograph pic in reply is greatly improved. Maybe the signature will not be autopenned...
