I have become rather disillusioned with Ajax over the past month or so. The only real advantage is that, rather than reloading the entire page, you can reload one or two subsections of the page, and thus request less data from the server / use less bandwidth.

The real problem with it is that, unless you are requesting strait HTML from the server, you have to generate your own HTML using javascript (never pretty or easy). Remember also that any validation that is done in Ajax is being done in javascript and can be easily hacked.

I would say it was Nigel De Jong at right back and Wesley Snijder at centre mid, they have a few good strikers and if Rudd goes back i belive they will win the championship again. I think there main advantage comes from their amazing youth policy and that they too play the same formation as the first team for when they becom eseniors they will already be tactically aware. Also they play a 4-3-3 which i believe is the ultimate formation.

AJAX is a way to come closer to the desktop program.
It also uses less (if good coded) server resources then a simple PHP page, that you need to reload entirely every time...

A good example of ajax is (if I am not wrong) gmail...

it is very good when you have to interact with your database (especially when you have to check if a username already exist) ajax does this without leaving tha page you are on and therefore makes your web pages faster and more interactive
