Well, technically the war is over, it is their country and the multiple rape, murder and burning of a 14 year old, murder of her 5 year old brother and 2 other members of her family. It was plotted over several weeks. It wasn't done on a military base! This is the same unit that a month after the incidents, 2 of there soldiers were kidnapped and beheaded. Now we know why!
If someone came over here, raped and murdered a 14 year old and he was Iraqi, would we send them back to Iraq to be tried? Hell no we wouldn't!!
They are afraid that we will do what we have always done, covered them up!
We won about 4 million barrels of oil a year so far!

Its gonna be another dramma like previous ones every where the americans invaded.......dont u people be worry nothing bad will happen to your troops....they will come homes safe and sound with lot of oil and money at the expense of muslim children's cheap blood.....now i can feel smile on your all faces....but u ppl dont worry, its your time thats y u are crushing people.....think of the time when you will be at the mercy of these people, here or hereafter(being faith community u shud believe this)..........its the war between muslims and faith communities as Allah told a long b4 by prophet Muhammad but it was not meant to be bloodshed it should be the war of idealism.............anyhow human beings must not be animals they should always be human beings..........their is no civil war there, true muslims never cut throat of any any innocent human being....thats the basic teaching of islam.

What was won? Higher oil prices of course! Duh. Go Bush Oil, hooray! As for Iraq's cries for justice? What the hey, throw them a bone in the form of a soldier. It'll count for nothing in the stability of the country and so won't affect Bush oil profits, so why should we care?
(Or are we trying to pretend that we really care about justice for Iraqis?)
Iraq's government and courts takes its direction from the US. It doesn't matter to the servicemen. They're in trouble anyway. It's just PR for Iraq's government. It might be easier for the sake of witnesses etc to keep it closer to the scene of the crime.

hell no. they can piss up a rope.
if we're gonna try those sh*tbag terrorists in american courts, the least we can do is try our own troops in the same venue!
by the way, i just love how all these allegations are suddenly cropping up left and right. how many did we hear about the past few years? not too many. i smell another subversive, lib conspiracy to ruin our good military name in order to create animosity amongst the iraqi people which would force our troops out of the country.
and it wouldn't be the first time the libs did something treasonous! yes, i'm talking to you, new york times.

Yes i agree because it is more logical to me. If the american troops have comitted crime against the Iraqi people in Iraq then they should be tried in Iraq.

I am not sure.
I need more information.
For example we will not let our soliders be tried as war criminals by the UN.
Yet we take many others there.
What would we demand if the situation is reversed.
But i think ulitmately Iraq is still under US authority.
what will we win if the civil war continues there and we get a theocracy.....
