because they're lazy -- answer a question and you'll see a "check spelling" icon on the top right of where you type your answer.

I have been thinking about this for many days. Apart from the spelling, the language and the grammar is atrocious.
The spelling error while typing could be due to some stuck up keys but then one should always do a spell check - the one over this paragraph. And ofcourse there are many who do not know how to spell even simple words. The education system is to be blamed for this state of affairs. When are things going to change?

same reason they shorten you to "u" and for to "4". Lazy. AND if it is a small boo boo with everything else spelled correctly we will assume you are intelligent enough to figure the word out. The most commonly misspelled word I have seen that is not by accident is "you're". Most people put "your". Two completely different words.

Good question. I've wondered the same thing. I think some are just in a hurry and are a little careless, some perhaps are just not great spellers, and some just don't care about spelling and grammar at all.

because the english language is so easily "mispelled". (i think i may have misspelled that.) also many of our words sound alike, but have different spellings and meanings.(red is a color, unlike the books i have read.) eye think this may help explain things a little. We also have words that are similar in pronunciation but are spelled differently.(tomatoe vs. potato) Dan Quale may back me up on this. or is it Dan Quail?

u have to put a good answers without talking a lot. so u write abbreviated words. and the mistakes in spelling are because u wanna write quickly.

People misspell words all because rappers and rap music took over.

Because of the horrible job the public school system is doing thanks to over paid cry baby teachers. The teachers unions must be done away with, and teachers must start receiving part time pay for the part time jobs they are doing. Also, take away all their benefits...no other part time job has benefits like they have.
