there's this guy and we both REALLY like each other, but I love him and I don't know how to tell him so it doesn't sound like I want to marry him! i mean we are only in high-school!!! -please help!

If you really love him then go ahead and tell him. If you dont tell him now, you'll never be able know what did he thinks about you. In the future you'll always wonder about him. Once you have told him how you feel it will be better for you. You can move on if he doesnot feel the same about you. You'll have goosebumps and your heart will be going faster then you can imagine when you will be trying to tell him how you feel. Its okay , once you have said everything you want to say you'll be fine.
In the future you'll be someplace and that guy will be someplace if it doesnot work out.

Are you crazy? Or just nuts.
You're still in high school and you have your whole life in front of you, and you have a thing for some guy and you want to tell him you love him? Why don't you try to hold off on that until about 2-3 years (or longer) with this guy and then decide if you really love him. You need to grow up a little before you use a big word like that.
That word gets tossed around too much and not very many people really comprehend how powerful that word is anymore.

You're only in high school, so just tell him that you really like him a lot. Leave it at that for now. If his feelings are stronger for you, it's an opening for him to tell you that. You're young and many men will come into your life, finally the love you need, but don't rush it and don't scare him off. Just be a great friend for now and in 2-3 years you may find that he's the one...then, he will be telling you first! :-) If he's not 'the one' then you haven't hurt a great friendship by telling him you love him. Love is tossed around too easily as a word, make certain it's a feeling that is deep and longlasting before you throw it out to someone.

I am a big believer in telling people that you love them if that is what you feel. You will feel the right moment when that time comes, probably on a quiet evening when your not doing much talking, or even in the midst of a fun happy time when you feel overwhelmed. There is not enough love in the world.

Don't tell him. Guys in high school get freaked out about that sort of stuff and he might do a runner on you. Guys at that age (to stay appreciative of you) need a challenge so make sure you stay one.

well, you probably only really like him...you dont love him, otherwise you probably would have found a way to tell him. if i were you, i wouldnt worry about telling him you love him. why dont you try and go on a date or something and see how that goes.

Just tell him in his face ...."I like you'' and smile, its that simple and straightforward! If subsequently, he never talks to you, you knows what going on? you live your life as usual!
