I think I saw a magazine once (US Weekly or something) where they had a feature on this- lollypop syndrome. They are all trying to get so skinny and they can't lose the weight in their heads of course, so they look like big lollypops. I've begun to think of it as a game: which celebrity's neck will break first while trying to hold up it's impossibly large melon head? LOL

I never really noticed until I saw an episode of "Entourage" that talked about how celebrities have big heads. I guess celebrities just need more space in their heads to hold their massive egos or something.

Oprah Winfrey has talked about this on her show !!!
That she and a lot of celebrities and movie stars and people on TV have large heads compared to their body size.
I imagine it has to do with TV, movies focusing more on people's faces than on their bodies - so a large face looks good on camera - it appears more expressive.

I think because most of them try to lose weight at high rates and their heads haven't caught up. Or it could be that because they are celebrities they've got 'the BIG head!"

I have noticed this, it's because they are so nasty skinny. Examples of a few big-headed people would be, Nichole Richie, Brittany Murphy, and STAR JONES whoa she has a noggin.

They say the camera adds ten pounds. Maybe It all went to their heads. lol But seriously it's probably because they are all so skinny and you can't lose weight in your head and stays the same so it looks bigger when they get smaller.
