HMMM This isn't really something that matters much to me. A person should feel comfortable in their clothes, not matter what they cost. I am a county official that has to look nice every day, but I do it comfortably and inexpensively. I do yard sales, thrift shops, Wal-Mart, K-mart, etc. I would say, though, especially to you young folks, if you are going to splurge on something, spend some extra money on comfortable shoes. If you take care of your feet, it will eliminate a lot of back pain and other problems as you get older. Nike or New Balance athletic shoes are good, and Echo for casual or dress shoes.

My boots cost £50, my shirt cost £11, my trousers cost £30, my underwear cost £20 and my socks cost £2. That totals at £113... man, I pity my mother, who buys all my work experience clothes!

I have a kid for I'm always shopping for deals. I have on a pair of jeans from Target that cost $14.99 on sale. A top from Deb that was $16.99 regular cost. Shoes from Payless that cost $19.99. Hanes socks that cost like $5 for a pack of 3. Actually the most expensive part of my outfit is my bra and panties cause they came from Victoria Secret.

Having added it up, they cost me £109 to buy (roughly) which seems so much, although each bit wasn't expensive. Now, they would probalby be worth about a tenner or so in a charity shop!
