yes, basically, its the feminine nature.. i wouldnt call it lesbian though. more like comfort and curiousity. and not to the sexual extremes one might think..

no. usually lesbianism (if that's what u call it) is a reaction to something that happened in their childhood, like a mother died and they need more women support or a male did something to them where they don't want to be with a man again
