They also weren't as intricate when it came to transforming from vehicles to robots. I had one that was some kind of plane and had it's arms unfold from underneath it with its legs just a pull of the tail section. The wings folded up and that was it.

I had Starscream, Soundwave (with all the cassette Transformers) and a couple more of the jets. Even the simple small ones were more complex than most of the GoBots.

Transformers rule!

Yes. They even had their own cartoon for a while. They were not as popular as Transformers. The GoBots I had were all smaller than comparable Transformers. I preferred the Transformers...so does my 2 year old son who plays with the GoBots and Transformers from my childhood that have miraculously survived over the years.

yup, I remember. The toys were really cheap too, in comparison to the Transformers toys.

i remember gobots do u remember the robot show where they would transform into rocks.

Yeah. Do you remember the Thundercats cartoon? It still comes on cartoon network once in a while. My husband and I watch it with the kids because we liked it when we were kids.
