it depends on your perspective of what love is.i personally think true love is rare because it fails to meet all our expectations in the long run.

I think people have different definitions of love and they tend to use the words very casually. I believe sometimes it's overated and mistaken for lust and loneliness.

There really is no answer to this question but what I have learned over the years is that the word LOVE holds the answer in itself.
(L)isten:Listen and Validate them by hearing and empathizing.
(O)verlook:Overlook their minor character flaws as they will overlook yours.
(V)alue:Value who they are and what they mean to you.
(E)xpress:Express how you love them not just with words but with actions.
