You will always be number one, even if you have to share the spotlight with someone else. Just becuase she is grown and getting married. Does not mean, she still ain't your little girl. Even when you let go of her hand, and someone new takes it from there.
You still be the one to come too. When she needs advice, cooking question, and etc. You get to talk to her on the phone, emails, letters, and all. You be with her for the holidays, and there a time she can't be with you. she be thinking about you all the same.
You will have the memories, that you hold dear to you. From baby to childhood, to her be an adult the first time. From grade to hight school. To her be happy about getting married.
You will still be her mother, friend, and hero. Even when your job is done, a new life has started for you. Just like that song, you be there in your daughter eyes.

You should be happy that your daughter has found a good man, not jealous because you won't be #1. It seems like you have a problem being center of attention. You really need to get over it. Trust me, if you don't, and my intuition is correct, you'll ruin their marriage. You'll be the worst mother-in-law ever.

You'll have to accept this fact......life goes on. The best part of it is when the grandchildren arrive. Accept her husband with open arms......be his friend......the only constant thing about life is that it changes.....so you need to be flexible enough to accept change in your life. You'll always be a parent......a special part in her life that no one can take away..........think of it like that........best of luck to you.........
