There is no doubt that France is strong but I do believe that Italy is flying high right now. The game is going to be very close I think but in the end I think that it will be Italy for the win.

Lippi has the chance to play his frightening 4-3-1-2 with De Rossi now eligible to play again. This tactic paid fully in the last friendly match before WC starts (Holland 3-1, Germany 4-1). It could be a great, unforgettable match. I'll go with an impressive, never seen before 4-0 Italy.
It's not madness or presuming over-confidence ;-))
French seems to me as out of fitness and Lippi every time is a crushing opponent against teams who are unable to react. I perfectly remember scores as 4-1 (Monaco, semi-final Champions League '98, and Ajax, semi-final Champions League '97), 6-1 (Milan, in Milano, 'Serie A' tournament, '97).
It needs only 3 days to go, but it seems an endless waiting.

i bet on Italy. the reason is the rumors i heard even before the quarter finals. 3 persons with the "gift" of seeing the future from 3 different parts of the earth told that Italy'll take the cup. well, i really didn't believe it then, but now that i see Italy in the final match, i guess it could be true. well, we'll see this sunday how true this rumor is.

ITALIA! i wasnt such a huge fan of italy before (i wanted germany to win =[ ) but i would rather take italy than france. no one has scored against italy (except themselves) and they have one of the greatest defenses in the world. and defense matters a lot. so yes i think italy will win.
