I want my food to taste good, so I can't live with out herbs/spices. And BTW, I have lived without each of the other things on you list at some point in my life. Heck, I didn't have air conditioning, a dishwasher, antibacterial soaps or an answering machine until I was an adult.

hmmm.....I like the heat, I don't blow dry my hair (it's bad for it) I wash my own dishes, I can make toast in the oven, I'm not scared of the dark, My truck is new so I don't need jumper cables, I wear pants so I don't need paper towels, I'm not scared to get dirty, I can use a pencil, I don't need to check myself out I'm not conceited, I don't cook with herbs and spices just salt and pepper (which doesn't count) I hardly ever shave as it is, I don't really eat a lot of chocoloate, and I answer my phone so I don't need a machine
Mine would be Kleenex, because I have bad allergies and if you use something else to blow your nose it makes it all red and it hurts and gets dry.

I can live without all of them but life is much easier with:

Air conditioning, paper towels, ink pens, herbs/spices, and razor. Much as I love chocolate, my figure would be better off without it!

I could not live with:
air conditioner (I hate to be hot)
flashlight (Not to fond of the dark)
antibacterial soap (No reason not to be clean)
Kleenex (No one should have runny nose)
a razor (Hair disgust me)
a cell phone (this one should have been added on)

I will not be able to live without:
Hair blow dryer - like my hair to look cool and pretty
Dishwasher - I'm not standing there to wash dishes, no way!
Toaster - I looove toast! Mmm!
Antibacterial soap - Like to be clean!
A mirror - i have to look good! Everybody does!!
A razor - nah, can always wax! Sorry wont be needing it!
Chocolate - Will never live without chocolate!!!

Stick me on a deserted island and my answer is a razor. I could use the blade for more than shaving.
Stick me in the middle of a city and my answer is a good piece of chocolate to take my mind of everything else around me.
