I usually submit a "rough draft" of my answer first, then go back and edit it for grammar or spelling mistakes, but also to see if I need to add any additional information to make my answer more helpful/efficient.

Yes, I click on preview the question and I review it and then I submit, but it happens quite often to me to remember something that I want to add or modify and click on the edit button.
As zinina says, it's like a drug addiction to me.
I just hope that the asker is not getting a new message saying: You have a new answer to your question, every time that I do a correction. lol!
*EDIT*
I don't want to add something really, but how would I confirm what I said?

I actually use the spell check option, then preview my answer and then I go back and read it again after it has been posted to proof for any more mistakes etc... I know it sounds anal, but there are so many illiterate souls who post their queries here that I feel it is my duty to be as vigilant as ever. Shalom.

I'll go back, but not to correct spelling or grammar...just if I think of a better answer or way to phrase what I was trying to say.

I have to.. its like a drug addiction!! since I have a really good since of humor most answers are kinda funny (If its not a serious question) so if I'm not simply correcting a stupid typo which I am most times cause for some reason my fingers just type what ever the heck they want at times I like to read what I have written.. lol well.. that.. plus I'm a writer...yeah doesn't seem like it... but yes...

If I reread and there are mistakes of any kind, I edit. What's really sad is I use the spell check button and preview and still find mistakes ...:)

Only if it has spelling, grammar, punctuation, etc. errors because I hate when I can't read someone's question or answer so I try to make mine readable.
