God, the center and focus of religious faith, a holy being or ultimate reality to whom worship and prayer are addressed. Especially in monotheistic religions , God is considered the creator or source of everything that exists and is spoken of in terms of perfect attributes—for instance, infinitude, immutability, eternity, goodness, knowledge (omniscience), and power (omnipotence). Most religions traditionally ascribe to God certain human characteristics that can be understood either literally or metaphorically, such as will, love, anger, and forgiveness.
In Hinduism (INDIA), Holy Being can be understood in several ways. Philosophically, it is understood as Brahma, the one eternal, absolute reality embracing all that is, so that the world of change is but the surface appearance (maya). In popular religion, many gods are recognized, but, properly understood, these are manifestations of Brahma. Each god has his or her own function. The three principal gods, Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva—charged respectively with creating, preserving, and destroying—are joined as the Trimurti, or three powers, reminiscent of the Christian Trinity. Strictly speaking, the creator god does not create in the Judeo-Christian sense, for the world is eternal and he is simply the god who has been from the beginning. In bhakti Hinduism, the way of personal devotion, the god Ishvara is conceived as personal and is not unlike the Judeo-Christian God.

i don't think so... i am armenian and i am christian (armenia is the first country that adapted christianity as a state religion), but sometimes i feel like people are just afraid of this unpredictable and unexplicable life and that's why the humanity created its god to worship and count on and hope for the best... different societies have thus ended up with different religions that have their similarities and commonalities.. people say that you can find god only in yourself.. so..

Nobody knows with 100% certainty. (IE, there is no empirical evidence either way.)

Anyone who claims to know (without even the slightest doubt) that God exists is not intellectually honest and is deluding themselves. (I find that people like this have generally been brainwashed.)

Anyone who admits that there is no proof and that they merely choose to have faith that God exists, and that there is a minute possibility that they are wrong (since there is no proof) is at least honest with themselves and has a respectable viewpoint.

If you couldn't tell, I myself am agnostic. (IE, I cannot be certain about the existence or absence of God.)

Are you real? If you believe that you are, then there was a higher being that made you. I am not saying God, because many people have alternative theories to whom the creator is from what is the popular theory. I am non-dominational and a free thinker.

No, i believe there is none because there are so many religions that are going off of 1 thing. all cant be right right. i think that there may of been a jeasus but no god or supreme ruler.

Your premise is incorrect. Fasting would not teach God is real to everybody. i've got faith in God and Christ and don't must be confident of His fact yet your question/assertion is ridiculous. you'll have basically invited all of us to speedy and pray w/ you as a replace of pretending that any human habit makes God real.

what do you think? If God did not exist why do people follow God since as far back as we have written language?
