Well, Doogie, do you have a bleak outlook? You seem to be saying it's a gift to be alive. And most people realize that. Some of the whiners and losers that get on Yahoo may give the impression that they have a bleak outlook, but on the whole, it seems as though most people are happy.
Most kids are happy, at least, young kids are. Growing up can be difficult, but there are still lots of smiles out there.
Being an adult can be tough at times, but there are other times when it's just plain wonderful. And those times outnumber the bleak times.
And being old can be the best of all. There is still so much to enjoy, and so much to look back on, that you realize life has been a gift, and we've been so fortunate to have been given that gift.

I truly believe it's because we were not created to live life apart from GOD. When the Lord created us he did so in the hopes we would serve him and have a life of abundance and peace. Serving God doesn't mean all of our problems will go away and everything will be happiness all the time, but when we live for God, no matter what earthly things come our way, we have a savior to help us and carry us through it and that does bring tremendous peace to us.....it is a peace that surpasses all understanding. Life is bleak to those who have no true concept of what it's all really about and no personal relationship with God. It's like being hungry and feeling totally miserable, but right infront of you there is this wonderful banquet, but we never sit at the table and partake of it. All we have to do is ask Jesus into our hearts and have a relationship with him. I promise once you have Jesus as your best friend, life is never , ever bleak!!! God bless you all.
