my brothers' best mate is married to an American girl, he came back to England for a holiday after being in Las Vegas for 3 years, and they get on brilliantly, despite growing up in diff countries, tho i gotta say, his accent sounded strange, abit half and half, lol.

It depends on which country would you get married :) I'm Polish and my boyfriend is English, we've been together for 4 years. We want to get married but we haven't decided where we will do that. I don't mind getting married in England, but it will be still nice to have a wedding in your country. You can get married in one country and have a wedding party in two countries :)
If you get married with person from totally different country and culture then it's a bit harder. Personally, it's not easy for me to say if I would get married with guy with different religion than mine, because I've never been in this kind of situation.... Anyway, hope your situation is not so complicated. Good luck!

for me, it should be a love marriage,
if i am to marry someone of different nationality/culture, i would like to marry an indian, (OK for me) because indian culture is close to our culture and they are very affectionate people

I say, it all depends on the person that is involved.
if you love someone enough to want to marry them, then all this wont matter to both people involved.
why would you care what people online here, think is OK for your relationship?

you really can't control who you fall in love with unless you close yourself off to meeting people of a different race or culture....in saying that I've always been open to meeting/dating new people, regardless of cultural differences.

marrying a girl with our culture is suitable, coz culture is more imp. than nationality ,. She should have self- respect & respect towards others.

Love is blind...it shouldn't matter what culture, religion or nationality your from just as long you marry for love (and be glad that you did get married) not to please society.

I'm not sure I understand your question. People are people so what are you really asking? Are you trying to ask if some races are more acceptable than others?
I'm confused.... and slightly offended....
