Family secrets are family secrets. What goes on in your parents, grandparents, siblings house is their business and does not need to be shared with your spouce. If it's your secret in your house, you're out of line keeping it from your spouce. It's his/her home and there should be no secrets in your home, ever. The hearth is sacred, we don't decorate it with lies. Decorate it instead with trust, honesty, compassion, support and open communication.

actually if u say, a whole burden goes down from u'r shoulders. however if u don't u always hav a suspicion that they may come 2 know of u'r secret anyhow. but if u think that it is better not 2 tell and if u can solve the prob by u'r self then there is no prob.

Well it depends on what it is. If its something that could unecessarily cause them harm, then why tell them? If you can take care of the situation, defrag it and lock it down without involving him/her, that is what I'd do.
But if it's something they have a right to know, then you should tel them. Because if they find out on their own, they may never forgive you for hiding it.
Good luck.

No I don't, that is being very dishonest with them. And if some how, some where along the line they were to find out about it, they may end up not trusting you again. And trust is a very important ingredient in a relationship.

I would say it would depend on whatever it is. That is why it is called a secret. Does your significant other share absolutely everything with you??? Or is there a few insignificant pieces that he/she does not???

Some things are better not known, or better yet what we say in my house "What I don't know won't hurt me" Of course this doesn't always work but you really need to pick and choose your battles and somethings aren't even worth telling. Everyone has "skeletons in the closet"

Depends on the situation.....if you're engaged or married, no, secrets should not be kept.....if you're just dating, that's entirely your choice.....
