I can walk in heels and wedges very easily. If you want to walk naturally and smooth in heels/wedges, here are some tips. Practice by walking on your tip toes barefoot. This will help because if you can walk without any support, then you can walk with a little support. Believe it or not heels provide some support. Wedges even more so. While wearing the shoes keep your body straight and your posture up right. Try and carry most of your weight in your hips, not your feet. Also don't stare at your feet, look up, not down. Just try and make it feel natural. Good Luck♥

Yes.

A good fitting pair of pumps with a 2 to 2 1/2" heel work well for me. Up to 3" wedges with an ankle strap are good too. I find sling backs are harder to walk in.

And it is always harder after I have been wearing sneakers or flat shoes for weeks it takes a bit to get back into walking in heels but it comes back quickly. In sneakers I take longer strides and that just doesn't work in heels.

If your having trouble with your heels, you may need a different pair of shoes. They do not need to be expensive. My most comfortable pair is from Walmart and cost about $12!

I can...I do find it easier in wedges, personally. I have gone with the chunky shoe look for so long that walking in those just comes fairly naturally. In general, it just takes practice-wear your shoes around the house for a while to get used to it. I think one of the biggest things is confidence-if you FEEL shaky and nervous in them, you probably will be.

PS In all cases, make sure the bottoms aren't too slick-I read once that roughing them with sandpaper works well if necessary. Also, break them in a bit before you go out, so there will be less pain and agony involved, lol.

For me i was naturally good at walking in both.. What you need is practice mostly, and start out with smaller heels. Once you get better get the higher heels and wedges..

::GOOD LUCK!!::

Stretching. If you wear them regularly, you should be stretched. But otherwise, if you're going to an evening out, event, etc, prep a few days in advance by sitting on the floor, pointing your toes, and bending forward slowly to stretch.
