thanks for the laughs, i was wondering how many here were old enough to remember some of the answers and the crazy questions girl's and guy's would ask it! I'll let the voters choice take best answer!

It's similar, as in both cases you have high probability of getting nonsense for an answer but also a small chance of something that happens to be hlepful. It's different, since an 8-Ball doesn't answer because it has nothing better to do with its free time, is sexually frustrated, or believes that it would be a crime to hide its infinite wisdom from the people (which one am I, you wonder?... well....probably all three)

Since some people give their answers some thought, I'd say no. The magic 8 ball's answers were simple chance as to what you got.

Almost. If the answers you get with an 8-ball are not what you want you can shake it again (cheater) but here things are a lot more solid.
