are you under your wifes control if yes then you have to be seperated from your brother if not you can try to talk to both of them and take decisions your way.

I don't understand the question I don't think. Are you asking if your older brother should live with you, or just stay with you a while? Either way, if that is indeed the question, make sure there is an understanding right from the get-go as to how long a duration his visit will be...and if your wife is dead-set against it and has good reasons (even if those reasons are only good to her), you'll have to tell him no, and support your wife.

are you saying your older brother and wife dont get along, and your wife dont want him living with you anymore?
this is your wife, she should come first , so I would suggest your brother find his own place.
he is grown and an adult, right? well, he should be living on his own then, not living with you and your wife.
I am sure your wife wouldnt mind if after say 6 months, that your brother come for visits(just for the day---not spend the night) .
in the meantime , you can call your brother and talk that way.
but, think your wife's wishes comes first. so I would tell brother go get his own place, now.

If you love your wife then she deserve to be able to express her feelings and if your brother living with the two of you is a problem then you need to solve it by helping your brother find somewhere else to live. Otherwise expect to be packing your bags to go live with your brother.

If your wife has told you, she would have also made your brother know of her intentions.... if he also is married...then seperation only will be the way for peaceful living... Women need not quarrel in public...they have ways to express their dislikes in better ways!!!

You don't give too much information. Are you married to your wife or your brothers??? I realize blood is thicker than water, but you are married, are you not??? Your wife does need to come first.
