Ethics is a general term for what is often described as the "science (study) of morality". In philosophy, ethical behavior is that which is "good" or "right." The Western tradition of ethics is sometimes called moral philosophy.

Ethics are the rights/wrongs for a given situation. Ethics generally refer to the positive/good side, so that having "no ethics" is a bad thing. For example, Enron made certain ethical decisions that were profitable in the short term for certain people, but were ultimately bad for business.
Entertaining bad ethical decisions like those as legitimate possibilities is considered "wrong" for various reason(s) by the relevant community.
