Really, the question is not as innocent as it seems. But the answer implies a very deep introspection. In a lighter vein, it could be said about those who do not know the difference between human beings and other beings as "If they don't know the difference, there is no difference !"
What makes human is basically the ability of self-awareness. And to the extent this awareness deepens, he/she becomes more of a human being ! Every adorable quality we seek in a true 'human' stems out of this awareness, which ever way you look at it !

I'm human because I communicate and live with other human beings. I'm human because I love humans. I'm human because I'm creative. I'm human because I have a consciousness like no other animal on the planet does. I am human because I walk on two feet. I'm human because I'm not as hairy as monkeys are. I'm human because i'm smart.
I would never want to be a different kind of an animal other than a human being while I am living on this planet.

You are human because you breathe, eat, bleed and love besides performing bodily functions. No other creature on this planet has love. They do all the rest but cannot express love for another as humans do. So love is the main reason why you are a human and not a fish or animal or plant.

yeh... i'm human. because I get older by each HUMAN year. and not by those animal years.
Yeh, i'm human because I am typing this now and I think no other animal could do so. And no robots are programmed yet to do so. ANd I am definitely not an alien. As no alien has ever been found.
Further more, I am human because I can feel. Emotions that no other living thing could express. Do you think that dogs can express their emotions like us? They do not love like us.

no i'm DEATH...Humans are the most self disgressing species ever to walk the caverns of the earth and they would break their voice in my arms and that day i'm going to point out where it all went wrong.....till then i am hoping that zizou beat the hell out of italy.....
