I bought my 3 changer cd micro sterio system by Pioneer approx 4 years ago now. The problem is when I select CD mode there is a M Error message on the LCD. What does this mean and is this repairable ?

i imagine it stands for mech error, which is a problem with the drive, check with your dealer. or pioneer themselves.

I have the exact same problem with my 3-CD stereo. The problem I believe is there's a CD stuck on the thingie that lifts CDs inside the chamber. That's what's wrong with mine at least. I'm just too scared to dismantle my stereo.I just use my dvd player or computer to play CDs instead.

probably memory error, ensure that you have a supply on the main power supply lines if applicable IE v plus 12 volts usually red, 5volts plus supply ,memory hod supply usually yellow cable on suppy. first connect one then the other. or reset system at P button ,small pin hole button with pin or narrow match stick end, otherwise check for other internal faults if knowledeable enough to do so . ask for other help
