In the United states, we look up, and see the sun, yet, in Australia, if they look up at the sun, are they really looking down?
Don't believe it?
Look at a globe.

just to comment on the previous 2 answers ....
in human terms down means towards the centre of the earth and up means away from the centre of the earth - graqvity forms our reference frame
as regards the looking up at the sun from australia and the usa ... it's because the sun is visible in those countries at different times - hence the sun has moved round so the other can look up (away from the centre of the earth) at it

A statement can be logically correct, but still fallacious.
All pigs are mammals
Aristotle was a mammal
Therefore Aristotle was a pig.

Sorry but just to comment on that previous answer... There is no up & down in the universe dear... as there is no point of origin to define up & down or left & right. It's all down to percpective & view. You may take your globe and hold it upside down, it's the same thing.
