Using a Cross UTP Cable, connect both the PCs.
Share a folder with write access on target PC.
Browse for shared folders on your target PC from host PC (try net view \\hostname at command prompt assuming you use Windows OS).
Map a network drive (net use * \\target\share)
From my computer on source pc, you are ready to send files now.

have you ever made all of your drives accessible for sharing, if not then the computer received't see the drives inspite of a bypass over cable. not all d600 laptops have prompt community builtin, have you ever been into the bios? hit F2 for the time of bootup to enter the bios and verify for prompt adapter. Hook the computer into the community utilising a cable it would artwork and could be swifter to move records, yet ensure that each and every one the drives are shared!!!.

explain further... are you in a LAN connection?....if so try the NETWORK CONNECTIONS method...

if you will transfer files from one computer to another use a serial cable...conenct it to serial port... run LAPLINK if you have one...that will do...i guess
