Install a parental control software. This will automatically filter offensive content.

Most of the popular software is paid software with annual fees like anti virus software.

However there is a free parental filter called Naomi which is very good and effective

If you are using IE, go to Internet Option on Menu, then click content tab, and you can do some setting to block some website you dont like.

Or just download Firefox with Google Toolbar, which I hope can help you.

The quickest way is to alter your hosts file located in your windows directory (usually C:/Windows). If you mimic the Localhost entry and just change Localhost to the url of the site, you will never be able to load that site.

Hi, you can try firefox browser.

it can block any annoying popup ads. it can prevent most of the virus in the webpage, as you know, most of the virus is spread through internet.

firefox is more safe and run faster than IE.
