Abstract:
My assumption, that way moon looks bigger and might be possible moon and earth come into collision.

Suggested Method:
To pull down our moon with a giant strong rope with world's heaviest diesel engines? I guess it will work!!

Your assumption is flawed.

The moon is, in fact, slowly drifting away from the Earth at a rate of around 1.6 inches or 4 centimeters per annum.

It can sometimes appear bigger (thus closer) due to an optical illusion created within the brain about which there is much conjecture.

Your rope idea holds merit as one thick enough secured firmly enough to overcome the forces of inertia between the two masses could be wound in if enough energy was applied to the winding mechanism.

I'm too lazy to do the calculations involved in providing the rope thickness, the structure required to secure the rope at either end or the horsepower needed to wind it in, but you get the idea.
