No don't take them off! I'm wearing braces too (I'm wearing them for 4 years) , I know it's hard to smile but taking them off will be worse. Wearing them for a certain period of time is better than suffering for a whole lifetime having an ugly formation of teeth.

Yes, I do. These things make it hard to floss, which is something that I like to do; and the pain when they crank the things up; right into my eyes for God's sake. They were to come off this month, it's taking longer for the final shifts to close up the spacing. It's been two and a half years and I am looking forward to this being over, the results are worth it though.

not anymore, i had them one time and i did take them off, with a spoon, but then my mom got pretty upset and eventually i agreed to get them put back on, just live with it though you'll be very happy when you have a beautiful smile, just use baking soda and peroxide toothpaste while you have them, don't smoke, and above all else WEAR THAT RETAINER when u get them off
