Batteries that are left in devices that are not used for an extended period tend to leak like that. If you read the manual for almost any thing that uses them, I know, nobody reads the warnings and small print, it recomends removal of batteries to avoid this exact circumstance.
Other possible reason, you bought really, really cheap bulk batteries.
A short list from a Game Boy manual...
Do not mix used and new batteries (replace all batteries at the same time).
Do not mix alkaline with any other type of battery (carbon zinc, nickel cadmium, etc).
Do not mix different brands of batteries.
Do not use nickel cadmium (nicad) batteries in your Game Boy, Game Boy pocket or
Game Boy Color.
For Game Boy Advance use only alkaline batteries. Do not use nickel cadmium (nicad),
nickel metal hydride (nimh), carbon zinc or any other non-alkaline batteries.
Do not leave used batteries in the Game Boy. When the batteries are losing their charge,
the power light may become dim, the game sounds may become weak, or the display
screen may be blank. When this happens, promptly replace all used batteries with new batteries.
Do not leave batteries in the Game Boy or accessory for long periods of non-use.

Cleaning it ALL off is important because it is corrosive and can contaminatte the next set you put in. I find that either an ink eraser works well, or even a fingernail file/emeryboard.

It has probably just been in there too long. What you probably need to know is what to do about it. I usually try cleaning it out with white vinegar and a cotton swab. It would be advisable to do that before replacing the battery.

Dandruff! thoughts to get rid of it really is to apply some type of shampoo that treats it. you're literally not likely to get rid of it through merely persevering with to bathe it with widespread shampoo. I desire the shampoo Head and Shoulders. Use it a minimum of two-3 situations per week to maintain away from dandruff. for optimum administration use it each and every time you shampoo. It also facilitates to rubdown your scalp along with your fingertips at the same time as utilising the shampoo. it really is not any huge deal once you've it because it really is undemanding to manage.

Battery contents are not useful once they are out of the battery, in fact, they may be toxic or caustic. Clean it up and throw it away.
